Hello world,

TGIF! It was one hard week for me, so I am really looking forward to some crafting and family time!
I am really happy that many of you liked my entry for our Get Ready For Christmas challenge at craftingbydesigns and I am surely obsessed with Mama Elephant Charmed set and will surely use it more often than neccessary :)
Here it is one more time:

It was easy to make when you have such a great set to work with, which I bought recently and just colored it. The dots are from Create A Smile site, I won them last year and am now ready to use them :)

But this card which I am going to show you now is also made with a very cool set from Jane's Doodles called Simon...I have already used him as a Santa and this time I played that card again...Adding a bit of Lawn Fawn sentiments which I combined with Jane's Doodles I created a new Simon plays Santa card...It reminds me of the sea and my hometown and I would like to present this card in the challenges:

So here it is:

Hope you really really like it,
Thanks for reading me
Till next time

Hello October

And just like that, with a summer hot sunny August and September turned slowly into a gloomy and windy October..I forgot I even had to blog :( (shame on me), but I was active on Facebook and Instagram and made some sweet cards for family and friends. Check them out:

My little family loves September because our third member, cute and stubborn little Stella celebrated her 6th Bday on September 11th. Her mother (the world's worst copper) even made a cake :) And it was eatable, too ... She had a great week and celebrated several times and got lots of gifts and was super happy and that's what is important, right .. .

And now to October .... At Crafting By Designs  we have prepared several new challenges and as usual we start with our favorite Anything Goes Challenges and we have several prizes for you, so go be creative and win cool stuff .... My entry is very much dedicated to a girl who has her birthday on Halloween and I combined my Crafting Desert Divas Fright Night Set  to create Halloween Bday :)

I am still learning to use my Zig Real Brush markers and I just did some basic watercoloring several times before deciding that last version would do and some black ink splashed afterwards, fussy cut the cat and sweets and basically applied it with mount tape onto the dry watercolor background. Hope my friend likes her Halloween Birthday card ...

Till next challenge, I send my love,

Yours Majtolina

Christmas in July

Dear friends, while I am preparing to get ready for my summer holidays, I am leaving you with several cards made for my great friends at Crafting By Design.
I have to admit it was a bit strange pulling out my Christmas stamps and make something a little bit different for our week challenge, but I have enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it. Simon Says Stamp always make nice cards and it is really easy to create fun and versatile things with them. So this is my July Christmas card:

It was actually rather easy to make, I just did the background using Zig Clean Real Brush, then die cut it with MFT Blueprint 27 die border and then just stamped and died all the fun images from  this set: Simon-Says-Clear-Stamps-BUILD-A-SNOWMAN. Finally I used Glossy Accents and voila :) simple card is here...

So next time we read I will probably be somewhere soaking up the Sun and enjoying my time with my daughter again and relaxing a bit...However my cards will be ready ...and I cannot wait to see your comments here :)

Take care, Majtolina xxxx

Clean and simple Bday card

June is almost over and I really enjoyed my holiday spent back home with my parents. I was born in Sibenik and it has always been known for its International Children's Festival, so we came just in time for its opening and enjoyed many shows around the town's squares. Stella is still in Sibenik and is now part of a children's art workshop which makes her very happy, she loves drawing ... Some photos of the Festival's atmosphere are below, we enjoyed seeing many street performers and I am in awe how dedicated and skilled they all are

Back to usual, for our monthly Anything Goes challenge over at  I have given my version of clean and simple card made for my dear friend Ana's Bday. I just went as simple as I could .... stamping a sentiment given to me by my dear pal Tracie craft with SSS White pigment Ink on a craft paper, then used Zig clean brush to add some color to the sentiment, die cutting butterflies from Sizzix Starter Kit and then placing several sequins all over the the card ... Simple yet beautiful, at least to me ...;)

So join us again on a new challenge, can not wait to check what will make you :)

Back to reality now, love

June, my favourite month...

Dear readers, so May is behind us ... And now the favorite month of mine is here ... June. I really like it cause it holds birthdays of several people that I love so much and is also mostly full of beautiful, sunny days, sudden spring showers and also .... I got married in June, I actually married on my birthday, so double the fun, right? But I got way out of the real subject ...

We girls in Crafting By Design have new challenges ahead of us and I hope you will join us and show us your creations .... we have many sponsors and prizes and so if you are a type and crafting you wish to show your projects, this is a great opportunity ....

For our Anything Goes challenge I made two cards, using digi stamps of our sponsors:

first is  bugaboostamps  and I chose the stamp  Teddy-bear-block-trio  which is so fun and versatile stamp, a bear and a ladybug - such good friends ... I really think you can use it to create birthday cards, baby shower cards or just to say hello cards :) I used it with a sentiment that shows how important friends are and it is a sentiment by Crafting Desert Divas. I used it to remind myself that I have so many wonderful people around me who are there when I need them most! Friends are family that you chose for yourself and I am lucky to have them in my life, especially those in my crafting world, like Tina, Jessica, Stephanie, Irena and many many more ...

I just went the best way I know how ... Just cut out the images, colored it with my simply Graph Markers and mounted it on the white card on which I had stamped the sentiment in Simon Says Stamp Sunshine Ink and then placed it on a beige cardstock. I used Rabger Glossy Accents just to add some dimension ... Simple, yet true ... I am CAS girl and heart :)

Here it is the CAS result:

The second digi stamp is from lovely sponsor:  oddballartco  and I chose the digi called:  We are here for the Baby . Since I am more of the real stamp girl, I struggled a bit with dimensions of the stamp and the overall idea of what I wanted to use for the stamp and I am quite happy with the result, cause I made it in a hurry, trying to catch more sun outside :) Again I colored the image with my Graphit markers, blended Simon says Audrey Stamp Blue sky for illusion and used Janes' s Doodles  grass from her stamp set  seamus  well as her sentiment from the set  special-delivery . Several sequins are added just for fun :) Hope you like it:

Hope you like my projects, please comment and leave some love or hate, your opinion matters ...

Take care,

Your Majtolina :)

Very proud I must say...

Long time no word here, but those who follow me on Facebook and Instagram know last few months have still been productive and full of happy cards. My dear friends from the USA Jessica and Stephanie have sent me a large box full of divine stamps and inks and I cannot thank them enough...I am still thinking of ways to fully thank them....

The reason of my blog is to say hi to the one, OK maybe two readers who were determined to introduce me into the world of design teams and I did apply for the team and guess what! This is my first official post as a design member of Crafting By Design team. Please visit  and meet these wonderful ladies... I am so happy to be part of this group, girls are so much fun to work with and also I am happy that Isobel from Isobels Creations, Emma from The Sparkly Fairy and Danijela from Danijela's Card along with yours truly are now new and proud members of this wonderful team. I hope I can do them justice and make them proud.

For my first introduction I went with a digi stamp that I won with my friend Tina from kristinasartcorner in a giveaway by Little MIss Muffet, the image is called  Little Miss Muffet Stamps Polka Dot Pals Rayne and was basically inspired by the weather we have had these days here in Zagreb. Rain Rain Rain....I colored the image with my faithful Graphit markers and used Stamperia red paper for the background. THe sentiment is a part of the wonderful gifts from Jessica and Stephanie, here it is, I sincerely hope you like it and do try our wonderful challenges:

I am also applying this card for the Anything goes challenge at:

All the best,

Yours truly,

Birthday cards

There is something about making birthday is not important if it is  for someone I know or if I make it for some friend's friend....I am always trying to make them personal and I like making them funny...although there is something special in those elegant ones I always make for my dear Granny :)

Since I was at home not feeling well this week I made two birthday cards just to occupy myself and to stop for a while with my marathon of "Reign" and "Once Upon A Time" (I am a fan of both shows) and OK I have to say I also watched "Devious Maids" :) (Guilty pleasures)

I decided  to post them both, although one card is still not with its recepient, but she will forgive me... it is for a good cause ... two birthday related challenges I would love to apply my own birthday cards :)

I believe it is really appropriate :)

My dear friend Tina stamped and sent me this little creature ...I believe it is a wolf and umbrella from ME Up and Away stamp set ( and I also added sentiments from Avery Elle Bring On the Cake set ( This set is so special to me cause I got it as a thank you note from a person I truly admire..Mrs Lucy Abrams...I swear I feel like a stalker when I talk about her but that girl truly inspires me....she makes cards that are so beautiful and I just wish I will be able to be as half as good as she... She is such a nice person....and I thank her for being so nice to me....

The paper and lace I used are from my own stash, lace sent by my dear Tina and ribbon taken from crafty store here in Zagreb....I hope you like it...

Also this card will also be applied to the:

The second card is also for the:

It is a birthday card and it is a shaker one (I love love shaker ones).

Once again my Tina sent me this ME Tiny heroes (  stamped on paper (that girl is a treasure I tell you). I even used my Distress Inks and stars she cut out for me and paper I won in Create a Smile giveaway and I really really hope the girl who got this card is happy now :)

I apologize for bad quality of my photos. I am still learning how to make good ones with my phone :)

Hope you like them both, if you do leave some love

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year, dear readers, may 2016 be the best year of your life...I wish you health, happiness, love and lots of nice things..............

My New Year started with a health scare and I hope it is just a reminder for me to slow down, listen to my body and to stay at home and rest when I need to........

But on a more better note, I have extra good news. I consider myself an amateur here and for me to be invited to be a guest designer on a blog such as is a simply a dream come true. This is my first attempt at being presented somewhere so I consider myself honored to be chosen among many talented crafters.

So go ahead there and leave some love for me and my fellow crafters! Thank You all for joining me..

All my love, Majtolina
